I've built my pc around 3 years ago. It ran fine until 2 years ago PC crashed mid game. No BIOS POST no BEEPS and a debug code 00. Tried clearing cmos/ taking out the bios battery, testing ram, reseating video card, checking all connections, possible shortcuts etc. Nothing helped. Then tried to turn on the alternative bios using Multi-BIOS Switch. It started posting, completed BIOS setup, worked fine, decided not to overclock it since then.

This fateful night I played CIV 6 did a win+D or something got to see the desktop, the screen flickered and stopped responding to taskbar clicks and stuff. Decided to restart my PC and be done with it and oh man Im done now ! The familiar debug code came up.. No BIOS POST no BEEPS and a debug code 00 on my last BIOS preset. Now I have two BIOS A and B both at Debug 00. I repeated all steps I did the first time, I also followed this guide http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/261145-31-perform-s.... And I am still stuck at no BIOS POST no BEEPS .. I refuse to believe that any hardware component is busted as the Multi-BIOS thing hints at something else! Please if anyone has any idea help me out!

  • If you did originally have it overclocked, I'd be confident that you have killed something in hardware. Symptoms sound right – Rory Alsop Dec 31 '18 at 11:24
  • reset bios to factory defaults - is it the bootloader or bios giving you the errors? – JohnnyVegas Dec 31 '18 at 14:11
