  • What specific application are you attempting to run? Have you considered a virtual machine (Oracle VirtualBox, VMWare Workstation, etc) to host an old guest OS? Have you attempted to use Compatibility Mode? Please note that the SuperUser site is not a place to have back-and-forth conversations troubleshooting. • I am tying to run old games on windows 10 due to some reason the old games are not working on windows 10 but those games are compatible with windows XP. The reason I am asking for emulator or any other workaround to run old application in windows 10 is due to the fact that if in near future I want to run another program which are compatible to old versions of windows then I might not need to face another problem again – Haziq Jan 14 at 18:43
  • @Christopher Hostage Q. Have you considered a virtual machine? Ans. No, the virtual machine demand separate resources as hard-disk , memory which is not I am in favor. Q. Have you attempted to use Compatibility Mode? Ans. Yes I have tried compatibility option in windows 10 but the result is negative – Haziq Jan 14 at 18:49
