Corporate Social Responsibility
True to Asian Hospital and Medical Center’s (AHMC) Vision-Mission, its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) team and the official foundation, Asian Hospital Charities, Inc. (AHCI) work together to fulfil its mission to deliver an impartial, multi-disciplinary, world class healthcare service to every individual that we serve. This includes the poverty-stricken who have low awareness on health and no access to medical services. Through AHCI, it facilitates the medical assistance needed by the indigent communities to receive specialized healthcare at AHMC.
CSR divided its program to four (4) areas to ensure that health awareness and practice will be the priority in implementing the projects and/or activities.
EDUCATE – AHMC is rich in talented individuals both doctors, employees, or allied workers who have the passion to share their knowledge on health. These identified resource speakers are backed up with trainings to guarantee that the information they disseminate are up-to-date, evidence-based, and research-based. This is to address the concern on improving health awareness and practice of these communities.
ENRICH – AHMC continuously forges partnerships with the Local Government, Non-Government Organizations, Associations, and other societies to foster collaboration in implementing health-related programs. This effort hopes to strengthen the alliance to better sustain the implementation of the programs.
EMBRACE – AHMC believes that creating a healthy community is by providing a continuous and sustainable care to its adopted communities. Through education on health and enrichment of relationship, AHMC’s compassionate care is felt by its adopted communities through the service and activities it provides. The time and talents shared by each of the Volunteer’s Circle is valued by the recipients and impacts their lives.

Asian Hospital Charities, Inc. (AHCI) a non-profit organization and the official charity arm of Asian Hospital and Medical Center (AHMC) founded on 2005 was designed to facilitate the provision of specialized healthcare for selected underprivileged patients as well as raise awareness through health teachings to target communities. Through AHCI, the hospital shares and extends the facilities and medical expertise to all the qualified beneficiaries. The doctors, staff, and volunteers from AHMC work together with the foundation to achieve its goal.
To be able to provide specialized services for the underprivileged patients, AHCI aims to raise funds through legitimate means and through the support of other stakeholders.
AHCI was able to facilitate medical assistance of cancer, heart, vaccination, consultations with Specialists, specialized diagnostic and laboratory procedures of indigent patients from the different areas in the South.
ENVIRONMENT – a healthy environment equates to a healthy living. Soon, AHMC will take part in activities such as urban gardening to teach the community of eating healthy and preparing affordable meals for the family.
CSR and AHCI constantly encourage partners and beneficiaries to work together to help improve the health knowledge and practice of the communities.
